12-10-12: James's Birthday!
He's here! He's doing amazing and I'm doing very well too. We are beyond thrilled and exhausted with the entire birth process and our new role as parents.
He was born on December, 10th, 2012 at 6:26am. He weighs a massive 9 pounds and 5 ounces! He's 20 1/2 inches long. This kid has some chubby cheeks, but we think that he's absolutely perfect.
The birth story will come, but here are some pictures for now...

*Note: thanks to those who noted that in my original post, I stated James was born on 12-12-12. He indeed was not born two days in the future nor do I have a camera that takes pictures two days in the future!

ReplyDeletei have so enjoyed following your pregnancy on your blog.. Love his sweet chubby cheeks.. And I'm loving the " skin to skin" ...I read a lot of research about that before I had Jillian and it helped a lot with fussiness and with breastfeeding.. Can't wait to hear the birth story!
