Lisa's Birthday

Last weekend we got together to celebrate Lisa's birthday.  We just gathered around the pool, played pool games, and ate yummy BLT sandwiches.  This is the perfect thing to do in late July.  Who wants to do anything outside in late July in North Carolina that does not involve water?  Not this pregnant lady!

 They got a little too creative in their play.  They decided that it would be fun to throw the balls over the pool.  This was fun until one ball did not make it completely over and it cracked open on the concrete.  Sad day for the bocce ball.

And the best way to end a hot summer day... a BLT with C.  Bacon, lettuce, tomato, and cucumber sandwich.  Cantaloupe and corn were the sides.  The corn, cantaloupe, tomatoes, and cucumbers were from my parent's garden and they are so good!
