Play Group Dinner

I'm part of a play group that meets every week.  We all had babies in 2012 and it's been so much fun to learn from these girls and just share life with them.  We're all stay at home mommies, so while we're playing with out babies all day, our husbands are at work.  While the girls love our girl time, we decided that we needed a time for everyone - mommies, daddies, and babies - to get together to play and eat. We wanted to do a cookout, but the weather didn't really cooperate.  Who knew that it would be 55 and raining on the last Sunday of April.  Oh well.  We still had cookout food and we just stuffed nine mommies, nine daddies, and nine babies in our little house.  It was super cozy, but it was fun!

 Ray and I provided the hamburgers and dogs, but the group chipped in and brought the rest.  We had a ton of food and it was so good!

Meredith and some of the other girls took turns taking care of James while I was organizing the food and Ray was grilling.  Thanks, girls!

Suddenly I noticed that all the guys were in the kitchen.  It's nice for the dads to have some guy time :) 

And most of the play group with our babies - The little ones were asleep in the Bobas :) 

Thanks so much to all the daddies who work all day so that the mommies and babies can spend precious years at home!  We love you so much! 

Yay for play group!  I love these families!  We are so blessed to have one another :)
